Queens Road Methodist Church Pre-School

Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Our Vision

Respecting Individuality, Valuing the whole child, Working together to learn and grow

Our Vision Statement

It is the aim of Queens Road Pre-school to provide a warm caring environment for the children in our care.

We value parents as the first and most important educators of their children, we welcome them as active partners in our pre-school.

We believe that all children are unique individuals and aim to help them to develop at their own rate through challenging and exciting play.

We believe that children learn most effectively when they are interested and motivated by the activities they engage with.

We believe in the importance of a key person to help plan activities tailored to the needs of each individual child.

We will provide opportunities for all children to grow in self-confidence, experience success and develop a positive self-image.

We aim for every child to have the opportunity to enjoy stories and verse every day.

We will encourage independence in all areas of development.

Register

If you would like to register your child at the pre-school, please contact us using the phone number above, drop in and see us or download the form here. You can then drop this in or email it to admissions@queensroadpreschool.co.uk

We will let you know if we have availability for the sessions required.

The number of sessions available may vary; You will be informed as to what is available when you apply. You are welcome to come in and visit a session and see us at work.

We can accept four children per session aged 2 years 6 months - 3 years under current regulations. If you wish for your child to start before their third birthday, your opportunity to take advantage of this will be effected by the availability of places.

Fees

Fees are paid monthly until the term after the child's third birthday, they are then funded for 15 hours per week by the Early Years Entitlement. Where eligible, we also accept 30 hour funding. When the funding commences, your child is then funded for 38 weeks per year.

Fees are currently £6.00 per hour, payable one month in advance

Every effort is made to keep the fees as low as possible, but parents are aware that costs are the same whether a child is present or not; therefore fees are not refundable for casual absences.

If for any reason your child leaves Pre-School, four weeks notice must be given, or four weeks fees paid in lieu of notice.
